Everything That You Need To Know About Soleus Insoles

Your feet are meant for walking on the sand! But your shoes may or may not give you that experience. This may because you either have foot anomalies or because your shoes do not comply with the needed dynamics of your feet. An immediate and highly effective solution is your insoles. The reason why they work so well is they reduce the impact to the feet and lower limbs whilst helping support and control the foot and align the overall posture. To reduce the running impact is to reduce the pain and risk of injuries, achieving a more comfortable running experience.

What are insoles?

Insoles, also called shoes inserts, replace the generic bedding that comes in your shoes. from ‘shoe inserts’, Functional insoles are different to ‘inner soles’, and ‘foot beds’, as their primary function is to enhance performance and, in some cases, even treat some foot problems. The comfort they provide is an added benefit.

Why are insoles important?

Since we are constantly on our feet the whole day, a lot of stress is absorbed by them which could lead to painful foot disorders down the years. For those who already suffer from conditions like Achilles pain, Plantar Fasciitis etc. it becomes even more necessary to invest in footwear that can aid in these problems. Insoles are an integral part of the solution to this problem with their unique ability to absorb foot pressure, whether you are standing for long hours preparing for a marathon.

We automatically assume that the pain in our feet after a long day is quite normal when in reality, a simple pair of insoles can go a long way in alleviating this pain to a large extent. For those with feet defects like flat feet or high arch, insoles are essential in improving the alignment of the feet and providing the extra support required. For proper foot health, it is imperative that we wear comfortable footwear that can help our feet bear the daily brunt and insoles make up a necessary part of this discussion.

How are Insoles different from footwear inserts?

Regular footwear are made for the masses. As comfortable as they would be, no regular footwear offers specific support to the feet for a healthier feet health. The standard insoles in regular footwear are  very thin and not always of the best quality, food insoles personalize the shoe and make them the most comfortable possible. Soleus insoles reduces the gap between the feet and the shoe and offers needed arch support to help the feet be better. Soleus insoles helps evenly distribute the pressure of the feet on the shoe and supports the arch for better feet alignment and affects the overall body posture making your performance better and more comfortable.

You may have come across quite many myths about Insoles. Some of them are as follows:

  • Insoles are only for those who struggle with foot pain.

Insoles are beneficial for everyone. Not only do they help those redundant struggling with foot pain, but they also help prevent foot pain and disorders.

  • Softer = Better
Providing cushioning is not the only function of insoles, and therefore, softer insoles do not automatically mean better insoles. Rather, a good insole has soft structures for cushioning while also having hard structures for support and realignment of the foot.
  • Insoles provide instant comfort.
Like shoes, insoles also have a breaking-in period where they re-align and re-structure the muscles, tendons, and bones of the feet to move them into the optimum position. This involves the application of pressure and takes some amount of time to get used to.
Insoles have proven benefits and sticking to them in the long run will ensure that your feet will remain forever grateful!
